Good! The only thing was that the flat was not very well equipped with kitchen utensils. Some more towels, a sponge, etc. would have been helpful. Apart from that a perfect place and wonderfully quiet.!

Found my Housestories flat absolutely fantastic. The decor is really cool and it had everything I needed for my stay. Isabel and Alexandre (the owners) are also very helpful with any issues and always get things resolved quickly. Basically, it's a great place!

I had a great experience from search, through visits, stay and check-out. The conditions and facilities at the appartment were excellent. Any issues or questions I had were addressed swifly and I always felt right at home. I'll definitely be staying with Housestories again.

Great location, just 15 minutes by metro into the centre, with a park out the front. A lovely old building, modernised to a good standard. Nice spacious studio apartmnet that was very comfortable to stay in for a few months temporary accommodation.

I stayed 6 months in the apartment 11, and I can say that I have been very happy. Ideally situated and very nicely furnished and equiped, you will surely enjoy your stay. And very nice tenants who will assist you,  in case of problems.

Excellent! We enjoyed our stay at the apartment very much. The view was exceptional! The location is great: near the metro station, so easy to head to the center of Brussels, near the park of Forest and Duden, so able to make nice walks, near the supermarkets, etc. It was wonderful!

Very nice, only points of critique and/or suggestions: W-Lan slow and unstable; windows should be cleaned once in a while; tv-channels could be rearranged (and maybe put on a list) and maybe extended (in particular foreign channels).

Whether visiting Brussels for the first time or returning, this is a great location: well-connected and with excellent local amenities. The different apartments I stayed in were equally lovely, clean, and carefully designed and looked after.

I've now stayed twice with Housestories in Ixelles (in apartments 12 and 32) - for 6 months in 2015 and for another 10 months in 2016. If I were ever to return to Brussels I'd stay a third time. The location in Ixelles is fantastic, the units are beautiful and Isabel and Alex (the owners) are easy to communicate with and very responsive to help make your stay in Brussels even more enjoyable. Both of my stays were in units on the South side (back) of the building and I can’t say enough about the beautiful early morning sunlight and the huge doors that can be opened to turn your apartment into a virtual outdoor living space. The back of the building has the added benefit of being quite quiet meaning that I left windows open all night and wasn’t disturbed by street noise. If you don’t know Brussels, note that only a limited number of stores open on Sundays, but included in these is a Carrefour Express located two doors down from the building – quite convenient!

It was wonderful! The location is ideal, the landlords lovely and the flat modern and well decorated. I would highly recommend Housestories and its Rue du Bailli property to anyone looking for a residence of a week to many months. I stayed two years!

I absolutely adored living in my Housestories apartment in Rue du Bailli. The apartment was large and beautifully decorated, and in an excellent location close to lovely bars, restaurants and shops. The service I received was excellent from start to finish.

“I have very much enjoyed my stay in this apartment since the first moment I moved in. It is perfect for one person. it has plenty of light, it is very modern, practical, and it is really well located. Next to Place du Chatelain and its Wednesday’s evening markets, walking distance from Flagey and Place Stephanie.
